First,
decide whether or not you want a church wedding. Traditional white-steepled
churches can be found throughout New Hampshire. Some churches will
allow non-members to get married there; others will
not. Some
churches
have
restrictions on the types of ceremonies that they will allow, while
others are very flexible. Many members of the clergy are happy to also
perform ceremonies outside their own house of worship and are willing
to travel to a secular site of your choosing.

The Fryeburg
New Church is actually not so new! Built in a welcoming, traditional
style, it opened in 1879 and is a National Historic Landmark in the
heart of Fryeburg Village, in Western Maine, bordering Conway, NH.
Call us for your wedding needs: Traditional, Contemporary, Creative
and/or Destination. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to noon, Tuesday through
Friday or upon request. Inter-faith couples and services are welcomed.
Facilities: A beautiful, traditional setting that
will seat 120. There are separate
areas for the bride and her party and the groom, and the church is
handicapped accessible. Facilities on-site for
a small reception.
Rate: $325.00 includes church facilities and on-site
coordinator. Officiate, organist and/or musicians, and any refreshments
are additional.
