So often, traditional weddings are a collection of new and old friends and family of both the bride and groom. In most cases, you may not have seen them for a number of years and on your wedding day, the contact is brief. You will say a few words in the receiving line and if you make a real effort, you may have an opportunity to say hello to each of your guests after the meal. There is little time to catch up on old times or for making contact with a relative that came from afar. |

A Destination Wedding will change all of this. Plan an out-of-town wedding at one of the properties listed and plan for your guests to stay for a couple of nights. This may be the first time both families have to spend together and get to know each other. They will enjoy your choice of a location in New Hampshire and all of the activities that are available to them. There will be casual time to spend with your guests during the hours preceding the ceremony. Breakfast or brunch the following day is another chance everyone will have to get to know one another and catch up since their last visit. Ask the lodging property to prepare a packet for your guests with rate information along with a property and area brochure. Plan a group hike, bike ride, golf tournament, ski day, a sleigh ride or a day at the spa that your guests can participate in. Your
guests will
leave feeling |
